MEETING MINUTES FOR LTTA3 OF THE MY SMART SCHOOL PROJECT
Working days: Monday-Friday,
Attendees: 25 participating students and 11 accompanying teachers.
Agenda: Overview of the aims and structure of the LTTA3 of the “My Smart School” project.
Executive Overview: The LTTA3 of the “My Smart School” project was hosted by Agrupamento de Escolas de Forte da Casa, Portugal, from the 29th of Oct – 2nd of Nov 2018. The partners in this project are: Italy (the coordinator), Poland, Macedonia, Turkey and the host of the event Portugal.
The goals of the exchange were:
1. to involve students in their own learning with a view to attaining better results and becoming more motivated;
2. to develop students’ transversal skills – computer literacy, critical and creative thinking, personal and social capability;
3. to develop intercultural understanding and acceptance;
4. to develop communication skills in English;
5. to promote European values and develop cohesion among European citizens.
The exchange presupposes two parts:
1. Introduction and team building
2. Topic-related activities using ICT tools (Animoto)
FIRST DAY (MONDAY, October 29th)
The first day of the LTTA3 was opened by the Member of the School Board Paulo Capela Marques and the school coordinator Helena Ramos, giving a warm welcome speech for the guests.
After that, all the participants were introduced with the daily working agenda. The participating students of all the partner countries attended team building activities. They were presented with a board game and paper tower challenge. The purpose of the activities was for the students to become acquainted with each other, to cooperate as a team, to socialize and develop their communication skills in English.
Then the guests were given a tour of the host school.
The first day ended with a visit to a local digital library “Factory of Words” in Xira.
SECOND DAY (TUESDAY, October 30TH)
The second day of the LTTA3 started with the introduction of the daily agenda activities. Then teachers of the Portuguese partner school presented several videos and presentations about the activities done within Erasmus+ projects, very important for better understanding of the aims of the projects about ICT tools applicability for educational purposes.

The working session of the second day ended with the students making effort to create a digital library on Blogger.
In the meantime, the teams of the partner schools held a team meeting.

8. Date for TM2 in Turkey
THIRD DAY (WEDNESDAY, October 31TH)
The students presented their lessons on literature prepared for LTTA3 and attended a workshop with Animoto and similar tools for presentation held by the English teacher of the Macedonian partner, Verica Nikoloska.
First, students were presented how to register and all of them created an account. Next, students were introduced with the general use of Animoto. They were given a comparison with the Powtoon, already familiar to the students. Students were required to apply all the presented information to create a photo presentation on the most memorable moments of LTTA3 and were assisted in any case if needed.
The second working session ended with the students presentations of the digital libraries created the previous day.
Following was a sightseeing activity, visiting Lisbon Oceanarium.
FOURTH DAY (THURSDAY, November 1ST)
The fourth day was appointed for sightseeing, visiting cultural and historical monuments and tourist attractions of the host country as a part of the intercultural understanding and acceptance process of the exchange.
